With a love for fantasy and science fiction, Joseph found inspiration in literature, historical texts, and documentaries that question humanity’s place in the universe. Her interest in the plurality of worlds led her to extensive research, drawing from sources like the History Channel’s “Ancient Aliens,” as well as books such as The Ancient Alien Question by Philip Coppens and Slave Species of the Gods by Michael Tellinger.

This academic foundation, combined with her curiosity about alternate realities, helped shape her unique storytelling style. Her debut novel, A Light Beam for Faith, merges philosophy, science fiction, and social commentary, exploring themes of faith, extraterrestrial life, and the search for truth.
Dedicated to representation, Joseph ensures that her main characters reflect BIPOC voices, emphasizing diversity in sci-fi literature. She believes in the power of storytelling to challenge perspectives and inspire change.
